How do I apply for a position?

Apply online through the Career Opportunities listing of our website and attach your resume or cover letter if you have one.

I applied for a position – what’s next?

Be sure you have completed the HealthcareSource Staff Assessment survey at the end of the application. Your application is incomplete without it. If you meet the qualifications and experience, your application will be forwarded to the Hiring Manager for review. If selected for an interview you will be contacted.

How can I check the status of my application?

When you apply for a position at Glacier Hills, you will create a log-in and a password. You can use that log-in and password to see the current status of your application through the Career Opportunities web page.

How many hours do I have to work to be full-time or part-time?

Full-time employees work 72-80 hours every two weeks.
Part-time employees work 40-71 hours every two weeks.
Casual employees work up to 39 hours every two weeks.
Minimum hours requirements vary by department.

How long are the work/shift hours?

Shifts are typically 4 or 8 hours long, but may vary by department. We do not currently offer 12 hour shifts.

Is there a specific uniform (or color) that I must wear?

Yes, in most cases a specific uniform is required and will be discussed with you during an interview or at the time a job offer is made.

Can I ride the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AATA) bus to work?
