Wellness Classes
  • Rise and Shine: A morning group exercise class to awaken the body and the mind. Start your day with movements designed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance.
  • Steady Steps: Designed with a focus on balance, this class incorporates a variety of exercises which can be tailored to each participant’s level of ability.
  • Dance Workout:  Fun fitness classes that are NEVER boring. Non-impact movement practice based on the idea that through movement we find health.
  • Tai Chi: Tai Chi is often described as a “Meditation in Motion”. In this beginning class you’ll learn techniques to promote relaxation of the mind and body, centering, better balance, concentration, and improved health.
  • Gentle Yoga: This class focuses on back health, balance, and gentle exercises. The poses produce greater strength, balance, and flexibility. Seated poses can be performed on the chair or on a mat and standing poses are performed with the assistance of a chair.
  • Relaxing Meditation: Come see how meditation can be used as a tool to nurture both your mental and physical health. Studies have shown meditation to be helpful for relieving stress, creating peace, and enlightening the mind.
Wellness Activities
  • Workshops and Seminars: On topics of interest. Past discussions have covered such topics as: Brain Health, Hydration, Healthy Sleep Habits, etc.
  • Outdoor Walking Paths: This self-guided option allows residents to enjoy the beautiful outdoors while stopping at the various wellness kiosks for exercise instructions.
  • Bocce Ball, Shuffleboard and Croquet: Enjoy a friendly game while socializing with your neighbors.
