Living Here

Welcome to Glacier Hills where you’ll enjoy the best each day … your way.

Your priorities … your interests … your lifestyle.

Glacier Hills is more than a senior living community, it is a unique neighborhood in Ann Arbor that offers the best of all possible worlds. Tree-lined walking paths, gardens, gazebos, and shaded benches poised beside natural ponds all add to the natural beauty and enjoyment of Glacier Hills’ 34-acre campus.

Since 1973, Glacier Hills Senior Living Community has evolved in response to the changing needs of seniors. That tradition of service-driven growth continues to this day. Every aspect of Glacier Hills has been carefully designed to ensure you live your life, your way – without the distraction and worry of home safety and security, maintenance and upkeep.

Glacier Hills offers a full calendar of diverse life enrichment opportunities, convenience, camaraderie and culinary delights every day. Whatever your pleasure, you will find it at Glacier Hills.

At Glacier Hills … Where you’ll enjoy the best each day … your way.

We offer a plethora of activity and enrichment for our residents. The Wellness Connection or rise-and-shine exercise class is a great way to jumpstart your day. Stroll with friends to either the Corner or Arbor Café’s for a continental breakfast, and if you need a few extras or the perfect gift for someone, the gift shop is your stop. Grab lunch on the go for those busy days or enjoy one of the dining spots available at Glacier Hills. Maybe your afternoon is filled with a relaxing or competitive game of billiards or bocce ball, or one of the many clubs that strengthen connections between residents at Glacier Hills – from bridge to book clubs, writing groups to afternoon coffee hour. Throughout the week, interfaith worship services are available if you choose to attend at Glacier Hills.

Dine in the elegant Renaissance Room or the glass-enclosed Heritage Room, choose from a flexible meal plan, a glass of wine or a beverage for an elegant dinner. Experience the seasons with al fresco dining on the patio. Our wine and cheese receptions on Fridays before dinner are always well attended. Private dining rooms may be reserved for intimate gatherings or if you prefer a quiet meal alone. Your dining experience that suits your preferences awaits at Glacier Hills.

Life at Glacier Hills also includes the many attractions of Ann Arbor and other nearby southeast Michigan destinations, including shopping, dining, cultural, recreational, and educational and entertainment opportunities all to match your priorities and interests.

If Glacier Hills is your residence for a short-term stay while recovering from an illness or injury, you may choose to enjoy and partake in as many, or as few, of the amenities and services you desire.

One visit to Glacier Hills and the difference will be apparent.
